Answer the incoming calls, that you want to answer.
Concern for my father's safety and independence was the inspiration for CallerLight™.
My 84 year old father, who lived two hours away, could not hear his smartphone. Tinnitus resulting from his prior military service and gradual hearing deterioration with age, made it hard to hear the rings from his smartphone.
He had a hard time hearing incoming calls from his smartphone when he accidentally turned the volume down, or forgot he placed his smartphone in silent mode.
He at times forgot where he placed his smartphone, and often didn't see the phone light up or feel the vibration, since it was in his baggy pants pocket.
His situation with his smartphone was no different than what we all have experienced.
We all have said,"I didn't hear my phone ring" at one point in time.
Over the course of four days, my 84 yr. old father had not returned my 35-40 calls. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this had happened.
Out of concern, I stopped my life to drive to my father's house 121 miles away, only to get a call from him 15 miles away from his home. He had misplaced his phone and couldn't hear the smartphone ring due to his hearing issues.
After receiving his return call, I was finally relieved he was well,
..but could my fear and sense of concern for his safety and well-being, have been avoided?
